Essay (25% of Total Score)

Essays will be judged on content, originality, structure, and grammar. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate and logically organized. Essay submissions must be saved as a PDF and uploaded into the application form below. Essays should be no longer than 300 words, double-spaced, 12-pt Arial font, with 1-inch margins. Applicants will select their preferred topic from three options: 1. If you had to have a motto or slogan for your life, what would it be and why? This could describe your past, future, or something you strive for. 2. Tell us about the career or education you are pursuing. What made you choose that? Why do you believe you could be successful in that career or university/college/school program? 3. Tell us about something you are proud of and why.
