I understand that enrollment in the Cooperative Solar Program and availability of solar units are satisfied on a first-come-first-served basis and is dependent on the total distributed solar project generation.
I acknowledge that solar power generation is intermittent and the amount of energy produced varies from moment to moment and depends on many factors including the time of the year, the time of the day, and the weather. Therefore, the Cooperative cannot guarantee or confirm the actual amount of energy I will receive from this rate.
I will not be required to lease, purchase, or maintain solar equipment and there is no investment nor upfront costs associated with the program.
I agree to a $15 "Cooperative Solar Rate Application Fee" for each enrollment application that is processed to successfully initiate, modify, or terminate enrollment; excluding disconnection of service or moves within the PEC system.
I understand that I must reply to the Solar Enrollment Offer within seven business days after being notified of solar capacity availability and agree to a minimum enrollment commitment of 24 months.
Should I choose to opt out early from the 24 month commitment I agree to pay a $15 termination fee and $1.00 for each assigned solar unit multiplied by the months remaining in the 24 month commitment.
The Cooperative may elect to reduce a Member's assigned Cooperative Solar Energy Units with notice to the Member, if Member's solar energy allocation is over 110% of Member's monthly average energy usage during the latest 12 month period.
The Solar Power Charge is currently $0.05608 per kWh and shall be applied to Solar Energy. All other rates shall continue to apply.
Each Cooperative Solar Energy Unit offered represents approximately 100 kWh per month. The units offered are calculated to enable enrollment up to 100% of your average monthly energy usage during the previous 12 month period. If you wish to receive fewer Cooperative Solar Energy Units than those offered, please reply to this email with your stated preference.
